We announce the death of Gerald Louis LaRocca Jr. of Midlothian, Virginia, who passed away on October 11, 2026, at the age of 67. Gerald will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his brother-in-law George Sakalo. He is survived by: his parents, Gerald LaRocca and Renee LaRocca; his wife Connie Marie LaRocca (Rasbeck); his children, Anthony LaRocca, Nicholas LaRocca (Raziel Estornino) and Sarah Gerster (Bryan); his grandchildren, Samantha LaRocca, Braden LaRocca and Bennett Gerster; and his siblings, Paul LaRocca (Jennifer), Kathryn Hagner (John) and Carolyn Sakalo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Bennett Funeral Home (14301 Ashbrook Pkwy, Chesterfield, VA 23832).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center in Jerry's memory.
