He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis H. Sweet, Sr. and Frances Wiseman Sweet; and his brothers, Donald "Donnie" Sweet and Lewis H. Sweet Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his daughters, Cynthia Duncan, Amanda Aboulhosn, Kelly Williams (Chad) and Holly Raymond; and his sister Jean McCutcheon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the American Legion Hall (901 Otterdale Rd, Midlothian, VA 23114).
