He was predeceased by: his parents, Counce Phillips and Alma Phillips; and his sister Ann McGee. He is survived by: his wife Veva Roberts Phillips; his daughter Haley Phillips Hines; his son-in-law John Hines; his siblings, Betty Metcalf and Roger Phillips; and his sister-in-law Annette Phillips.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Skipperville Methodist Church (5189 AL-105, Skipperville, AL 36374). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
