Mark Wayne Koolhaas Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mark Wayne Koolhaas of Midlothian, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 27, 2025 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Abram Koolhaas and Elsie Koolhaas. He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his daughter Amber Koolhaas; his grandchildren, Romeo, Nevaeh, Dominic and Royce; his son Louis "Buddy" Spies II (Meredith); his grandchildren, Lily, Rosie, Louis and Levi; his son Jacob Koolhaas; and his brothers-in-law, Dale Rensing and Donald Unland. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the CrossPointe Church of the Nazarene.
