She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie "Shorty" Dunkley and Sallie Dunkley; and her nephew Mark Hale. She is survived by: her husband Herbert H. "Herby" Rudd III; her sons, Danny Rudd (Nicole Rudd) of Midlothian, VA and Rodney Rudd (Val Abrego) of Washington, DC; her granddaughter Madeline Rudd; and her siblings, Betty Hale (Fred Hale) of Staunton, VA and William "Billy" Dunkley (Gaynell Dunkley) of Abingdon, VA..
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Woody Funeral Home (1020 Huguenot Rd, Midlothian, VA 23113).
