She was predeceased by: her husband James G. Phillips; and her brother Stephan Gunnels. She is survived by: her daughter Teresa Milligan; her granddaughter Sarah Milligan; and her siblings, Harold E. "Sonny" Gunnels, Richard Gunnels (Diane), Ann Carroll Waterman (Skip), Sidney Gunnels (Jamie McGrath), Jon Gwynn Gunnels and Tracy Ward (Bob). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
