He was predeceased by: his sons, Duane M. Cook and T. Paul Cook, Jr.; his brother Joe D. "Red" Cook, Jr.; and his mother Hazel Barden Cook. He is survived by: his daughter Cindy Johnson (Skibo); his daughter-in-law Diana Cook; his grandchildren, Ryland Johnson (Allison), Ridge Johnson (Kimberly), Jessica Cook and Thomas Cook, III; his siblings, Arline Cook and Stuart "Butch" Cook; and his girlfriend Helen Budzik. He is also survived by his four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Bliley's Funeral Home (6900 Hull St Rd, Richmond, VA 23224). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
