He was predeceased by: his parents, William Zimmerman and Evelyn Zimmerman (Coulter); and his siblings, Sharon Maslen, Beverly Zimmerman, Nancy Hall, Gail Kinson, Thomas Zimmerman and David Zimmerman.

He is survived by: his children, William Zimmerman (Lisa) and Lynne Jennings (Tad); his grandchildren, Marc Zimmerman (Erin Dabrowski), Craig Zimmerman (Kaylin), Nicole Gill (Aaron), Lexi Jennings (Will Campbell), Tori Jennings (Nathan Iskowitz) and Gabi Jennings; his great grandchildren, Eli, Gavin, Daniel and Claire; and his sister Gloria Wagner. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
