She was predeceased by : her parents, Martin Freeman Walton and Eunice Virginia Grubbs Walton; and her granddaughter Cary Lynn Fields. She is survived by : her husband Bobby Lee Fields; her sons, Shannon Fields (Amy) and Brandon Fields (Alisha); her grandsons, Marvin and Cole; and her brothers, Martin Freeman Walton, Jr. (Alma) and Thomas Hugh Walton.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Oakland Baptist Church at 2965 Oakland Church Rd, Gum Spring, VA 23065.
