She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond Lewis Venator of Morrell's Meat Packing Plant; her sister Carol Ann Pitz; and her parents, James Edward Pitz and Nellie Mae Pitz (Walker). She is survived by: her children, Timothy Blaine Venator (Tim) and Lisa Ann Merchant; her son-in-law Sonny Merchant; her granddaughters, Bethany Michelle Merchant and Caroline Marie Merchant; and her siblings-in-law, Robert Venator and Barbara Sah (Matt). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mineral United Methodist Church (301 W Third St, Mineral, VA 23117).
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, or to local animal shelters or women's shelters.
