She was predeceased by: her husband Norman Roosevelt Allman; her daughter Tammie Leah Monroe Goff of Washington; her parents, Jack Alexander Smith and Minnie Amelia Dorst Smith; and her siblings, Lena Thompson (Carol), Everett Smith (Betty), Betty Skinner (Clair), Opal Gates (Everett), Ireta McCoy (Clair) and Vernon Smith (Grace).
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Sue Allman Jackson of Woodstock, Lisa Dawn Allman Small (Marvin) of Mineral Wells and Eric Scott Allman of Vienna; her grandchildren, Matthew David Monroe (Donna), Andrew Michael Monroe (Rachel), Crystal Jade Longwell (Jason), Aimee Nichole Allman Rhoades, Ryan Dean Small, Lacey Nicole Small Charles (Austin), Alex Allman Jackson, Jordon Brionna Allman (Noah) and Amanda Allman Jackson (James); her great grandchildren, David Monroe, Bryant Monroe, Madelynn Monroe, Lana Rhoades, Brantley Squires, Lennox Rhoades (Lennie) and Hunter Stephens; her nephew Clair Thompson; her sisters-in-law, Mary Seaman and Betty Smith; her parents-in-law, Ruth Pearl Lucas Allman and William Earnest Allman; her brothers-in-law, Vernon, Charles and Clifford Allman; her nieces and nephews, Ronald Thompson, Neal Seaman, Daniel Allman, Sharon Gates Markle, Carla, Margaret Allman and Lucille Thompson Murrey; her son-in-law Dave Monroe; and her child Michele Hess. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as many cherished cousins, nieces and nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lambert Tatman Funeral Home (2333 Pike St, Parkersburg, WV 26101). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Following a year of intermittently battling with the recovery of two hip surgeries, the early stages of Alzheimer's disease and a brief bout with pneumonia, Nina's last moments on Earth were peaceful.
