He was predeceased by: his parents, Ephram Gentry Jr. and Eva Gentry; and his siblings, Jimmy Gentry, Danny Ray Gentry, Roger Gentry and Grace Clark.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara A. Gentry; his children, Teresa Eaglin (David Eaglin) and Ronnie Gentry Jr.; his siblings, Marian Powell, Tammy Blevins, Nada Campbell and Rodney Gentry; his grandchildren, Chasity Phelan and Katelynn McCann (Wade McCann); and also, River Phelan and Thomas Phelan.
