It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brian Douglas Vaughan of Moneta, Virginia, who passed away on August 29, 2025, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Brian farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Brian is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Vaughan and Carol Vaughan (Mihoover). He is survived by: his wife Amber Sakosky Vaughan; his sisters, Debbie Miller (David) and Tess Barnes (David); and his siblings' children, Kristie Pariyadath, Jeremy McGraw, Andrew Barnes, Jackson Barnes and Daniel Miller.
In lieu of flowers, go with your loved ones (or solo!) for a sail on your favorite lake or for a joy ride to get some fresh mountain air.
