She was predeceased by: her parents, Lowry Delong and Gladys Delong; her husband Carl Davis; her children, Dale Byrd, Debbie Byrd and Donna Byrd Morgan; and her siblings, Herman Delong, Ralph Delong, Jimmy Delong and Mary Delong Garland.
She is survived by: her son Donald Byrd (Anita); her son-in-law Donnie Morgan; her grandchildren, Christie Deardorff (Jeff), Brandon Byrd (Victoria), Jonathan Morgan (Amber), Gunnar Byrd (Kristin Fultz) and Dakota "Cody" Byrd (Violet Jacobs); her great grandchildren, Zachary Byrd, Ethan Deardorff, Tenslee Byrd, Ryleigh Byrd, Mason Deardorff, Peighton Byrd, Connor Morgan, Parker Byrd, Carter Byrd, Wyatt Byrd, Trevor Morgan and Laramie Byrd; her siblings, Ray Delong (Marcella), John Delong (Marie), Danny Delong (Charlona) and Cathie Overstreet; and her siblings-in-law, Reva Delong and James Garland. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Updike Funeral Chapel (1140 W Lynchburg Salem Turnpike, Bedford, VA 24523). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Byrd Family Cemetery & Radford Baptist Church (1293 Radford Church Rd, Moneta, VA 24121).
