He is survived by: his son Edward Franklin Metcalf Jr. "Frankie" (Jill); his niece Cynthia Metcalf Hargrove; his nephew Jeff Metcalf (Jennifer); Boyd Greever (Julie Walls).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Spring Creek Baptist Church (918 Darlington Heights Rd, Cullen, VA 23934). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Central Cemetery.
