With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Faye Elizabeth Poole of Moneta, Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Faye left this world on September 30, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest B. Jackson and Ethel Mabe Jackson; her husband William Keller Poole Sr.; her son Robert Kyle (Bobby); her daughter-in-law Pamela Kelly Poole; and her siblings, Velma, James Kirby, Thomas B. Jackson, Charles, Helen Jackson, Cleita and Clyde Brown (Jack).
She is survived by: her children, Gail (Ronnie Zimmerman), W. Keller (Diane Harlow Poole), Lecia (Waller Bohon) and Jeffrey O. Poole; her grandchildren, Bobby and Kelly; and her sister-in-law Georgia Copenhaver Jackson. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Shady Grove Baptist Church (1861 Jordantown Rd, Thaxton, VA 24174).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Moneta Rescue Squad, Samaritan's Purse, or to Shady Grove Baptist Church.
