He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Eduardo Sirera and Otilia "Tillie" Mendez Sirera; his wife Mary Rose Barton Sirera; and his grandson Jose Donaldo Sirera. He is survived by: his son Joseph Edward Sirera III (Carolyn); his grandson Michael Sirera; his sister Judith Fetzer; his sister-in-law Florence Meehan; and his nieces, Laura Mallamaci (Michael), Denise Day (Erik) and Lisa Capon (Bruce).
