He is survived by: his wife Carol Lawson Hurt; his children, Sarah-Elizabeth Virginia Clements (Adam), Adam Walker Hurt, Patricia Hurt Payne (Terron), Joyce Hurt Ransom, Leroy Walker Hurt, Jr., Carol Sue Hurt and Terry Edward Hurt; his grandchildren, Phillip, Kayla (Ian), Candan (Jonathan), Shelby (Bret), Anna, Jackson and Ava; his brothers, Tommy D. Hurt (Dot) and Clayton P. Hurt (Emily); his sister-in-law Cathy Hurt; his brother Dennis; his sister-in-law Linda Kemppainen; and his friends, Kyle Rose, Larry Baldwin and Harold Hedrick. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
