She was predeceased by: her father George Nuckols; her husband Mark Holden; and her uncle Alvin. She is survived by: her parent Lavon Nuckols; her grandchildren, Barney, Nora Kidd of Moneta, Homer Sexton and Hazel Sexton of Willard, KY.; her great-grandparent Maggie McDavid of Willard, KY.; her siblings, Todd Nuckols, Ira Dean Wallace and Karen Terry (Steve); her uncle Jay (Sara M. Sexton); her cousin Jimmy Sexton of Webville, KY; her close friends, Tina Carter Weatherman, Doug and Jackie Thornhill; and her parents-in-law, Mark Holden and Lisa.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Holy Land Cemetery (4067 Dickerson Mill Rd, Bedford, VA 24523).
Per request of Lisa before her death she asked that any donations go to the American Diabetes Association.
