He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Ries and Thelma Louise Ries. He is survived by: his wife Barb Ries; his children, Ashley Hill (Adam) and Bryan Ries (Angel); his stepson Scott Dalton; his grandchildren, Andrew, Aaron, Abigail, Anna, Alex and Blakely; and his sister Terri Newton (Sonny).
