With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wendell McGuire of Moneta, Virginia, who passed away on September 5, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Lewis H. McGuire and Valera B. Bobbitt; his stepfather Clyde Bobbitt; and his sisters, Lois M. Bobbitt, Beatrice M. Laprade and Phyllis M. Robertson.
He is survived by : his wife Margaret Rose McGuire; his children, Robert W. McGuire and Carolyn M. Hager (Theron); his grandchildren, Sarah, Danielle and Logan; his great grandchild Hayden; his siblings, Glenn McGuire (Darlene), Beverly Bobbitt (Teri) and June Cook (Roger); and his brother-in-law Jim Laprade. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
