Eleanor leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Eleanor’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Eleanor will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank James Wills, Sr. and Lula Harris Wills; her husband William Ray Campbell; her daughter Wanda Gayle Campbell; her son-in-law Steven O'Brien; and her brothers, Frank James Wills, Jr. and Charles Edward Wills.
She is survived by: her daughter Faye O'Brien of Monroe. She is also survived by three grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Elon Evangelical Presbyterian Church (2290 Cedar Gate Rd, Madison Heights, VA 24572).
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider Elon Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
