She was predeceased by: her parents, George Creasy and Mamie Creasy; her husband Jack Whitehead; her son Ricky Whitehead; her grandson Moriah Whitehead; and her siblings, George Creasy, Richard Creasy and Violet Ellington.

She is survived by: her children, Rosa Jordan (Jim) of Monroe, Andy Whitehead (Jane) of Lynchburg and Sharon Connelly (Danny) of Madison Heights; her grandchildren, Brandy, Jamie, Chris, Alex, Patience and Jerrica; her great grandchildren, Reed, Sophie, Harper, Samantha, Kenda, Zoe, Alex, Kaytlynn and Jordan; her great great grandchild Penelope; her sister Marie Moore of Lynchburg; and her friend Rachel Lindsey.
