It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia Farthing Crawford of Monroe, Virginia, who passed away on November 4, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Lila Farthing (Oakes) and Nat Bennett Farthing; her husband Ernest R. Crawford, Jr.; and her brothers, Troy Farthing, Bill Farthing and Harold Farthing.

She is survived by : her son Kenneth Crawford (Pamela); her grandchildren, Kenneth Reed Crawford, Jr. (Jennifer), Kristin Michelle Welch (Brandon) and Luke Bennett Crawford; and her great grandchildren, Averie Julianne Crawford, Anderson Reed Crawford, Hunter Ian Welch and Emily Ann Welch.
