She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Will" Wesley and Lillian Florence Hiner (White); her husband Ezra Gay Halterman; and her son Eddie Halterman. She is survived by: her son Daniel "Danny" Halterman (Barbara) of Greensboro, N. C.; and her siblings, Marie Rexrode of Monterey and G. W. Hiner of Riverton, WV. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Obaugh Funeral Home (8739 Highland Turnpike, McDowell, VA 24458). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
