She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Covell and Neada Mae Covell (Earnst); her husband Clifford Ward Gibbs; her son Gene Tomlin; and her siblings, Marvin, Paull, Odell, Charles, Harvey Covell Jr., Miriam Covell Minnick and Elizabeth Covell.
She is survived by: her daughter Penny Gibbs of Monterey; and her grandchildren, David Kemp, Heather Kemp, Jessic Tomlin, Lindsay Dawson and Garrick Tomlin. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; as well as five great-great-grandchildren; as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
