We are sad to announce that on March 17, 2023 we had to say goodbye to William Allen Rule Jr. of Monterey, Virginia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William Allen and Lois Rule (Rader); and his son William. He is survived by : his siblings, Mavis, James and Katherine; his wife Carol Pace Rule; his children, Jann Shenk (Larry), Sally Rule-Gwinn and James "Jimmy" Rule; his grandchildren, Jonathan Shenk, Jill Midgett (Jimmy), Katie Shenk, Sara Erwin (Ben) and Taylor Gwinn (Aaron); and his great grandchildren, Jacob, Hailey Johnson, Parker, Logan Shenk, Gray Midgett, Henry, Hazel Loring-Shenk, Rose, Lillian Erwin and Kailu Garcia-Gwinn.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the Highland County Humane Society, PO Box 458, Monterey, Va. 24465 or to the Office of Donor Relations (0336) German Club at Virginia Tech, 902 Prices Fork Road, Blacksburg, Va. 24061.
