He is survived by : his children, Ronald L. Nicholas, Robert, Gregory Bentley (Valerie) and Phyliss Bentley; his granddaughter Nicole Franklin of Greenville, NC; his brothers, John R. Nicholas, Sr. (Patty) and Melvin B. Lucas, Sr.; his goddaughters, Naquita Lee and Simone Mealy; and his niece Eloise N. Miller. He is also survived by nephews, other relatives, and friends.
