Kathleen Hamby Luck Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kathleen Hamby Luck of Montpelier, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 8, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Roosevelt and Bessie Lowry Hamby; her husband John Wilbert "Johnny" Luck; and her siblings, Jean Hamby Jones, Earl D. (Josephine C. Hamby) and William D. (Sarah W. Hamby).
She is survived by: her daughter Betsey Luck Johnson; her son-in-law Charles A. Johnson; her grandson Austin A.; her granddaughter-in-law Mary Katherine Reda Johnson; her brother George R. Jr.; and her sister-in-law Virginia N. Hamby. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association.
