She was predeceased by : her parents, Hubert Smith and Frances Smith (Howdyshell); her spouse Arlie D. Long, Jr.; her grandsons, Hubert Long, Jr. and Conner Sexton; and her siblings, Meda Gladwell, Alice Gabbert and Julian Smith.

She is survived by : her children, Arlie Long, III (Teresa), Mary L. McCool, Clara F. Davis, Hubert Long (Lorna), Joyce Petrina (George) and Robert Long; her grandchildren, Crystal, Jonathan, Stacy, Michelle, Steven, Andrea, Tyler, Robert, Sherrie, Brian, Diane and Tracy; and her brother Allen Smith. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
