In the vast expanse of eternity, Robert shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Robert farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George William and Mary Agnes Townsend. He is survived by: his children, Kathy Smith (Keith), Kelley Langford (Kenny), Robert (Jessica), Jeff and Andy; and his caregivers, Ashley and Debbie. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Popes Creek Baptist Church (9131 Kings Hwy, Montross, VA 22520). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at the same location.
