He was loved and cherished by many people including : his children, William Roderick Tate (Sharon), Dawn Jackson (David) and Elena Burgoyne (Joseph); and his parents, Bill Tate and Lanier Tate (Ford). He was also cherished by his six grandchildren and their spouses; six step grandchildren and their spouses; five great-grandchildren; 14 step great-grandchildren; and his cat.
