She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin H. Giles and Odell D. Giles. She is survived by: her husband Ira W. Thomas; her caregiver Pamela L. Thomas; her sisters, Barbara G. Clements and Mildred G. Thayer (Roger); her caregiver Robin Byers; and her close friends, Teresa DeBusk, Mark Kennedy, Jimmy Giles (Pete), Scott Justis, Mark Giles, Linda, Ralph Guffey, David Thomas and Teresa Kennedy. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Oakey's East Chapel (5188 Cloverdale Rd, Roanoke, VA 24019). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
