He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas Phillips and Hannah Gillespie Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Hufford Phillips; his daughters, Susannah Jane Pinch, Heather Phillips Masri (David Neal Masri) and Heidi Phillips Burns (David Wayne "Mel"); his grandsons, Dylan Scott Masri and Owen Phillips Masri; David Riley Burns, Jacob Owen Burns and Sophia Elizabeth Stell.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Woody Funeral Home (1020 Huguenot Rd, Midlothian, VA 23113).
