It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mobley Padilla of Mount Crawford, Virginia, born in Harrisonburg, Virginia, who passed away on July 10, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Mobley leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Mobley may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Padilla of Mt. Crawford; her parents, James Hedrick and Roxie Whetzel Hedrick; her son Rocky Vigar; and her sisters, Donna Wolfe of Mt. Jackson and Nancy Hedrick of Harrisonburg.
She is survived by: her sons, Stephen Vigar of Harrisonburg and Barry Vigar (Susan) of Seneca, S. C.; and her grandchildren, Nicole, Ryan and Trent. She is also survived by her seven great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Eastlawn Memorial Gardens (3289 Spotswood Trail, Harrisonburg, VA 22801).
