He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul J. Frye and Ruth Marie Knupp Frye; his wife Marguerite Sams Frye; his stepdaughter Dorothy Williams; and his brothers, Raymond, Milton and Carroll Frye.
He is survived by: his siblings, Lawrence Frye of Mt. Jackson, Norman Lee Frye of Mt. Jackson, Marie Neff of Maurertown, Louella Walters Kibler of Maurertown and Roulette Copp of Maurertown; and his stepsons, Thomas Pritt of Martinsburg, WVA and Robert Pritt of Mt. Jackson. He is also survived by 6 step grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mt. Jackson Rescue and Fire Department or Smith Creek Baptist Church.
