She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Sanderson and Ruth Warner Sanderson; and her husband Bradley L. Shope. She is survived by: her sons, Gary and Steve Kalwaytis.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wakemans Grove Church of the Brethren (668 Wakemans Grove Rd, Edinburg, VA 22824).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shenandoah Senior Center.
