He was predeceased by: his father Gilbert Clark Wimer, Sr.; his brother Barry Allen Wimer; his stepmother Barbara Wimer; his father-in-law Terry Wayne McKenzie; and his grandson Colton Maverick Hightower.
He is survived by: his wife Melanie McKenzie Wimer; his daughters, Brittany Runion (Matthew) of New Market and Jazmin Hightower (Paul) of Broadway; his grandchildren, Emah-Lei Jordynn Wimer, Barachias Gunner Hightower, Winslow Hickman Hightower and Huntley Blayne-McKenzie Hightower; his siblings, Patricia Custer of Timberville and Nicky Wayne Wimer (Emberly) of New Market; his mother-in-law Bonnie McKenzie of Mount Jackson; his sister-in-law Connie Runion (Danny) of Singers-Glen; his grand-pups, Kona and Remei; and also Bernice Rose Wimer of Timberville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at 6155 Main St, Mt Jackson, VA 22842.
