It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herman L. Hensley of Mount Jackson, Virginia, who passed away on April 30, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Herman L. Hensley to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Avis Hensley and Catherine Hibbs Hensley; his wife Mary Catherine Magill Hensley; and his sister Geraldine Ross. He is survived by: his children, Trisha Hensley-Young (Cletus Sine), Cathy MacConnell (Pete), Alisa Hensley of Nashville, TN, Dale Silvia of Braselton, GA, Mark Silvia (Kim), Todd Hensley (Angela), Troy Hensley (Scott Silvia) of Woodstock and Alexis of El Paso, TX; and his siblings, Evelyn Hance of Independence, KY, Ruth Culver of Dayton, Hope Barber and Jim Hensley (Robin). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Forestville-Quicksburg Ruritan Club.
