It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LaVerne Audry Peechatka of Mount Jackson, Virginia, who passed away on December 12, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clair Nauman and Loretta Adams Nauman. She is survived by: her husband Farley Peechatka; her children, Farley Peechatka, Jr. (Dayna) of Port Matilda, PA and Janice Phoebus (Robert) of Mt. Jackson, VA; her grandchildren, Avery Peechatka (Angie), Paige McCabe (Josh), Alyssa Peechatka (Sean Chatlos), Ryan Phoebus (Cassie) and Kelsey Lewis (Spenser); and her great grandchildren, Gage, Maddox, Hadley, Turner, Quill, Thea, Asher, Evan and Casper.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church (319 Orkney Grde, Basye, VA 22810). A burial will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church Cemetery (319 Orkney Grde, Basye, VA 22810).
