We announce the death of Frances Kay (Hughes) Justus of Mount Sidney, Virginia, who passed away on May 19, 2026, at the age of 86. Frances will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus M. Hughes and Edith Edna Hughes (McGraw); her husband Frank J. Justus; and her siblings, Willow, Max, Cecil, Warren, George, John D. Hughes, Molly Hughes, Ruby Slack and Edith Battone.
She is survived by: her children, Frank B. Justus (Anita) of Grottoes and Kathy Wampler (David) of Mt. Sidney; her grandchildren, Eric Wampler (Emily) of Charlottesville and Jennifer Gius (Tony) of Austin, TX; her great grandchildren, Sam, Alex Gius, Mae and Henry Wampler; and her sisters, June Buckbee, Mary Brown and Karen Legg.
