He was predeceased by : his parents, Raymond Wimmer and Ina Warner Wimmer; and his brother Johnny Wimmer. He is survived by : his wife Gayle Meadows Wimmer; his daughter Lora Comer (Michael) of Princeton, WV; his granddaughter Emilee Comer Turner (Adrian); his great grandchild Micah Turner; and his siblings, Danny Wimmer of Tennessee, Loretta Brown of Narrows, VA, Sarah Callaghan of Roanoke, Brenda Hylton of Vinton and Becky White (Tennis) of Tennessee.
