She is survived by: her husband David Whittaker; her brother Clarence Michael McGinley, Jr. of Narrows, VA.; her cousin Jolanda Hodge Cheeks; her daughter Iris of Pearisburg, VA; and her close friend Nedra Holdren Thorn of Narrows.
A graveside service was held on Friday, May 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Shiloh Cemetery (2854 Wilderness Rd, Bland, VA 24315).
