He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Fred Shrader and Mary Lois Jones Shrader; his son David Glenn Shrader (Julie Bonds Shrader); his granddaughter Baylee Crawford; his parents-in-law, Dolan and Eloise Rader; and his brothers-in-law, Gary W. Wright, Stephen Rader and Keith Rader.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Fay Rader Shrader of Narrows; his daughter Jennifer S. Crawford (Donnie) of Narrows; his grandchildren, Sampson Shrader, Jaeger Shrader, Nakia Shrader, Ayasha Shrader and Branden Crawford; his great grandchildren, Jazlynn Shrader, Malcolm Shrader, Lyric Shrader and Kingston Shrader; his stepgrandmother Maxine Shrader of Lugoff, SC; his siblings-in-law, Joel Rader (Ann) of Newport, Brian Rader (Melanie) of Blacksburg and Brenda Snidow (Winfred) of Pembroke; his pet Molly; and also Freda S. Wright of Narrows. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the First Christian Church (605 Memorial Blvd, Narrows, VA 24124). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
