It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacqueline King of Narrows, Virginia, who passed away on May 26, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vance Silas Lambert and Ada Strauther Crabtree Lambert; her husband John Davidson King, Jr.; her son David V. King; and her sister June Chaney.
She is survived by: her children, Susan A. Kidd (Dennis) of Narrows, Lisa K. Korb (James) of Elliston and Richard E. King (Regina) of Winston-Salem, NC; her grandchildren, Silas Korb, Catherine Korb, Jeremy Kidd, Jonathan Kidd and Christian King; her great grandchildren, Alice Kidd, Cameron Kidd-Chuon and Charlotte Kidd-Chuon; her sister Shirley L. Wheeler of Rich Creek; and her sister-in-law Nora Hopkins of Pulaski. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
