He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Cleveland Jones and Olivia Thomas Jones; his son Ronald Eugene Jones, Jr.; and his brothers, Walter Jones and James Jones.
He is survived by: his son Rick Jones of Roanoke; his grandchildren, Dominick and Dakota of Pearisburg; his sister Norma Jean McNeil of Roanoke; his nephews, Larry McNeil (Sharon) of Troutville, Jim Jones (Melanie), Marvin McNeil (Laurie) and Walter Jones; and his niece Angel Hazlewood (Steve) of Salem.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Givens - Riffe Funeral Chapel (600 Main St, Narrows, VA 24124). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at the Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to the Oakvale Christian Church.
