He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Curtis Hess and Joan Hess. He is survived by: his wife Lynne; his children, Greg Hess (Holly Laurent), Lauren Hess Weaver (Jason Weaver) and Paul Hess; and his granddaughters, Heidi, Isla and Anna Weaver.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Nelson County Community Development Foundation (https://nccdf.org.) which benefits low- and moderate-income citizens of Nelson County.
