We announce the death of Danny Lee Hudson of Nelson, Virginia, who passed away on July 18, 2026, at the age of 70. Danny will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hoover Hudson and Ludie Mae Williamson Hudson. He is survived by: his wife Melissa Weston Hudson; his children, Christopher Hudson (Nicole) of Raleigh, NC, Monica Snelson (Jake) of Chesterfield and Sarah Hudson of Nelson; his grandchildren, Clara Hudson, Levi, Jackson and Ellie Snelson; his sisters, Gray Hudson (Wayne Hudson) and Judy H. Herndon; and his friend Leslie Moses. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
