He was predeceased by : his mother Anna Pulliam. He is survived by : his wife Kathy; his sons, Tommy L. Thaxton, Jr. (Chastidy), Michael W. Thaxton (Melisa) and Travis D. Thaxton; his stepchildren, Alice Comer (Troy) and Charlie Keeton, III; and his caregiver Dorothy Hite. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
