He was predeceased by: his brother Daniel Parsons (Welda); his brothers-in-law, Austin "Ken" Kinna and James "Jimmy" Reynolds; his niece Brenda Kinna Wolfe; and his parents, Edgar Parsons and Alice Parsons.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Fellers Parsons; his daughters, Donna Parsons and Robin Parsons Hammond (Walter "Wally"); his sisters, Virginia Parsons Kinna and Esther Parsons Reynolds; and his pet Walker. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
